About us

Serbia is not a democracy.
It is fear, dressed as order.
In Serbia today, people are being detained without cause – taken off the streets, held in prison for days, or confined to their homes for daring to speak out. Workers are punished for their opinions: fired, suspended, or quietly pushed out through intimidation and pressure, especially in state institutions and major companies. This is not coincidence – it is a system designed to silence.
Journalists are threatened with violence and death. Students are beaten, surveilled, and targeted. Professors and teachers are intimidated into obedience.
This is what an authoritarian regime looks like in real life – not abstract. It is happening now. It is happening to ordinary people.
Freedom of speech is not protected. Human rights are not guaranteed. Fear is becoming the norm.
And silence only makes it worse.
Who We Are
We are a decentralized network of researchers, activists, and citizens. Our identities remain anonymous by necessity. We operate from the shadows out of a justified fear of retaliation, knowing all too well the lengths to which the regime behind this project will go to target and silence those who don’t look away.
We are bound by a shared belief in democratic transparency and an unwavering commitment to the facts. In an environment where systemic corruption is shielded by intimidation and silence, we serve as a necessary, global counterweight.
